FAQs

What if I’m not ready to change?

Change is hard. It can be true that we are sick and tired of our destructive habits, and that we are also afraid of giving up our longest-practised ways of feeling safe. Finding the motivation to change is as much a part of the process as learning skills to sustain it.

Why can’t I stay stopped when I quit drinking?

Periodic abstinence may bring much needed relief, but it’s far from an unshakeable foundation for living. Carl Jung spoke about sustainable recovery from addiction as needing that deeper dive into our personal sense of meaning and purpose. Call it a spiritual awakening, call it what you will, but when we clarify the values that transcend our mind-made fears and inept solutions we can surrender to the guidance of our higher purpose and point our strengths in a better direction.

How do I start?

By taking the first step.
